I think jio doesn’t need an introduction. Here I would share my experience with jio, its network, data speed, customer service telephonic and in person, problems faced etc.
When I heard about jio, I was very amazed by the idea of bringing 4g network in India, where 3g was also not fully functional. I went to normal mobile recharge shop and asked for jio sim, he directly asked me 300 rs for the sim, I was aware that tge service and sim where free.
So I thought I would directly go to jio store and purchase a sim from there.
I reached jio store nearby me and I said I wantva new connection. He asked me aadhar card, but I was having passport. Then he lied to me that, we won’t be able to process your request for new sim. Please go to reliance digital store. I went to reliance digital store and at tge corner thete where guys sitting on chair with jio uniform. I said them I need sim he said okay. He took all the documents and gave me sim on the spot. I said him about my experience with the jio store, he said they just didn’t wanted to do tge work so they followed you to us.
The guys ate reliance digital where very nice and did my work.
Now, the sim was activated within 24 hours. I was very happy with prompt service.
Network quality is great. I get full network bars on my cell. At starring period jio had issue with call drops/not connecting types issue.
But guy this was not jio’s problem, it was done by other competitors in market that blocked incoming calls from jio.
Jio uses LTE for calling, so if you are having dual sim phone, make sure your data from jio is always on or else you won’t be able to receive or make calls or messages.

Very polite agents, well manared, gives solution asap. Most of tge problem get solved by reading the FAQ in myjio app.
Myjio app provides you all information related to your account like mobile number, data remaining, validity, you can do recharge from the same app.
Dataspeed: - I get around 14 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload. Speed gets low during some peek hours. But most of the time I get high speed.
Problems faced till now : -
1) Random no network for some time ( hardly 2-3 mins)
2) My sim was damaged, don’t know how. Had to replace from jio store.
3) faced echo during std calls( sometimes)
For those who have not purchased/ used jio sim till now.
Jio is very cheap to other networks. With some surprise often.
You get free subscription for audio worth millions.
I would suggest you to buy a jio sim and ennui the good service.
