When I first purchased a jio sim and mobile in August, I was very happy, internet speed was good, calling was good. But it lasted for only a few days. Now the internet speed is the worst, internet connection keeps dropping randomly after every few minutes, so you cant do something that requires a steady internet connection, like playing online games. Download speed now never crosses 50KB/sec, only in early morning u can get somewhat better speed up to 1MB/sec. Still nothing compared to what jio promised at start 50mbps, the internet speed we get is not even close to 50mbps.
About the calls, its not as bad as the internet. Jio to jio calls work fine, Jio to other networks is a problem, it takes at least 5-6 tries, on your bad day you might not be able to call someone even after 50 tries.
Customer care doesnt exist, just like the internet, for the first few days I was able to call and talk to customer care, but now the phone just keeps ringing and no customer care will receive it. It will say all customer service representatives are currently helping other customers please wait, I waited for like 30 min still couldnt talk to anyone. Also they have an email on which you can send them emails, but no one even replies to that email, so dont waste your time trying to get in touch with customer care, its impossible.
