RCom recently migrated its subscribers from CDMA to GSM network to kick off its high-speed 4G services. To make this switch, the company entered into spectrum sharing and trading agreements with Jio. As of now, RCom has airwaves in 850Mhz band in all of its circles. In 13 of its circles, the network provider has 2100Mhz of liberalized spectrum where it can offer VoLTE services. It was also in talks with Chinese companies such as ZTE and Huawei, along with Finish network provider Nokia, and Swedish major Ericsson for deploying VoLTE services in India. However, there hasn’t been any update on that front.
