I’ve been using Jio for some months.
1) **How to get** - Firstly, there’re some requirements to buy Jio sim card. You must have a 4g Phone and you have to install "My Jio" app in that from play store in order to get a Bar-Code. That bar code you will have to show to the Jio-retailer and from there you can get a sim card. However, due to excessive crowd, this process may take time.
2) **Internet speed** - No joke, almost everyone have bought this to access Internet. **Internet speed is generally okay**. but don’t surprise because sometimes it gets slower than 2g. Sometimes It just works fine and gives downloading speed upto *2-3 MBPS*.
3) **Call Drops** - It is the issue everyone who has JIO is frustrated with. *Jio has a abnormal amount of call drops*. Sometimes It just doesn’t connect the call. Reliance Ltd has registered a complain against many other networks saying that other networks are not following the policy which is reducing the internet speed of Jio and increasing the Call drops.
4) **Internet Limit** - There’s an internet limit which you can’t exceed in one day that is of 4 GB. **Y****ou can’t use more than 4 GB data in day.** So eventually you see Jio does not provide unlimited internet as you may be hoping for.
