I had an opportunity to use JioFi 2 first. It was great ( ofcourse where ever jios signal was available) .I had to buy JioFi 3 recently and my experience is really bad. First of all it is not at all as handy as the previous model. It is bigger and almost off the size of a small phone. It lacks the glass finish that the previous model had. Looks wise JioFi 2 is much better. The signal catching or is similar in both. When it comes to battery back up, JioFi 3 is behind JioFi 2 with big numbers. I used to use the previous model for about 7-8 hours straight but this new one doesnt seem to last for more than 5 hours that to if I use it off and on. I would say that as both of them cost the same, you should go for the older model.
