My father recently got his Reliance Jio Phone which he had booked in the month of july I suppose. However, I would say the delay in getting the order was totally worth it. I personally feel its a perfect phone for one’s parents who might not be comfortable with using android smartphones. The phone is 4g cum VOLTE supported and has almost all rich features of a smartphone. It supports all kinds of JIO apps. I had anticipated that the launched phone would not have Wifi support but to my suprise it does. The 2.5 inches has got a good resolution and both the cameras are quite ok. The speakers given are also of a qood quality and loud enough to enjoy your videos without using your earphones. It is build in rugged plastic case but what more could you ask for in 1500 bucks. However their are few things that held me back from giving it 5 stars. One of them is that it does not suppport hotspot facility. Apart from that the the battery drains out quickly ( in comaprison with other keypad phones available in the market) . Although that’s understable given that it is 4G phone. I suppose the regular jio plans or rather which is currently running are applicable for this phone too ( not sure) . Currently my father is enjoying the free 3 months service and he doesnt have to worry about it. My father loves watching youtube videos and movies on Jio TV and often tell his friends to book it saying its a paisa vasool Phone. I would end my review by thanking Mr Ambani and Reliance jio group on his another affordable gift.
