Reliance has waived off the Rs 3000 deposit charges in its reworked Pioneer offer. No amendments have been incorporated for existing users. Also there are many who are now in a lurch. Does this mean they have a ghate ka sauda? Will they loose their deposit? What on earth is Reliance really upto?
In a fresh new offer, the WLL-M player Reliance Infocomm has reworked its old scheme and introduced a monthly billing option for new subscribers, which also includes a waiver of the deposit of Rs. 3, 000. This makes the handset available to the customer for a little over Rs. 6, 000.
But this sure does sound like bad news for the existing customers of Reliance IndiaMobile service. It is as yet unclear whether the existing subscribers can move over to the new Dhirubhai Ambani Pioneer Offer. This could result in the subscriber losing the initial deposit of Rs. 3, 000.
