With the proposed steep hike in tariff for land phones it will be costlier than a Reliance phone. It will be an ideal replacement for a landline. Moreover, the value added services provided free by Reliance will surely makes things difficult for other players, who in the past have been fleecing their customers. The entry of Reliance into the ring will defintely make the consumer the king. He now has more options before him.
