I did write a review earlier on Reliance. This is my second review. I unfortunately made a mistake of migrating from Relaince to BSNL for my residence connection. I had to make three visit to get my paper work done and get my phone. THis was ok compared to the BSNL visit I had to do. I could atleast visit them at my time of convienence.
First ShockNo STD. I was asked to wait for 7 days. I did wait to give my request and finally got it activated after 1 or 2 dasy of the request. Please note that I ws never informed that I had to wait for 7 days to get STD activated
Second Shock I waited for 45 days for first bill. I never got. Send the first request to customer care no response. after a week I send second request. Still no response. Third week I send a request again with cc to TRAI within a week I got SMS from reliance that my bill was under process . I think they need a stick always to perform their act properly
Third Shock I had issue with connecting to Internet. Relaicne customer care denied to log my request because I was not using a relaince data cable. All of us know what is there in a data cable. A piece of wire and 2 connecter. How does it matter if I use 1200 Rs reliance data cable or 50 Rs local data cable. After spending some money for petrol and threatening phone calls they tried to solve my problem.
First Nightmare One fine day My STD stops working . I call up customer care they say my usage excceds 3000 Rs so I have to make an interim payment of 3000 Rs. The customer care keeps making false claim of having send me SMS before disconnection. However I think they had send it in their dreams so I never landed on my phone .I did make an interim payment of 1740 Rs via internet which was my previous month usage (almost a week before the due date to get my STD activated). becasue I know other operators have this issue when the usage exeeds credit limit you have to make some payment to get the service activated
Worst Night mare After making payment of 1740 Rs and waiting for 4 days to get my serivce activated I get a SMS warning me of making interim payment again or my service gets discontinued. When I call up they tell the service will not abe activated till I make payment of the unbilled amount of 3040 Rs.
However this fools know to make reminder call form getting hte payment not for giving a call back for customer support troubleshooting
