India's #1 network, from bottom!

Problems I faced:

1.In reliance you can’t call customer care. Whenever you try, either network is busy os customer care executives are too busy handling other annoyed customers. As a result they will put you on hold, and eventually your call will get disconnected due to notwork congestion.

  1. On reliance website they will tell you how to activate new schemes. Cool na? But once you activate it you only get conformation about its activation. There is no way you can deactivate it or I should say there is no way you can come to know how to deactivate it(you can wait till that useless service drains your account balance, then will get deactivated automatically). Because website doesn’t give complete info and customer care never gets connected.

  2. Network is definitely present everywhere (well almost), but is running at over capacity! So you can’t make calls even if signal strength is full. It never happened with me while I use Vodafone.

  3. You can’t register for NDNC. I mean I did tried registering to the DO NOT DISTURB service but when I entered my number on reliance website , the response was "you have entered invalid number ". When my friends call on this number (and by chance there is no network congestion) my phone rings, so my number is very much valid. Reliance GSM is also written on the back of it so I know it’s of reliance only. And mobile dealers also are able to recharge it successfully through reliance connection. Well I tried calling customer care, but then refer problem #1.

  4. I can’t use EDGE/GPRS on my mobile. Because reliance is not having settings for my phone. My phone is Nokia 5320 Xpress Music Symbian S60 smartphone and reliance not having settings fo it ! When Vodafone, Tata having settings for my phone whats the problem with reliance. ? I know there are manual settings which can make me use internet on my phone , but couldn’t find them on reliance website. I tried calling reliance customer care but refer problem #1.

  5. How to check balance ? Website says by dialing *367#. But when I do so the response is "request not completed". I come to know about my balance through this way in only 20% cases. And after ever SMS it shows balance. I have an SMS pack and I am not charged to send SMS. So obviously I don’t need to see my balance after sending every SMS, but it shows balance. And I can’t deactivate this stupid service( in Vodafone I have deactivated it)

It has been almost 3 months since I bought reliance . It has only one advantage, that’a why I haven’t thrown it, Throughout UP you don’t need to carry 2 phones, in other companies you have to have two numbers as Jhansi is in UP East circle and Agra is in UP west circle!

Isn’t it strange?
