Hiya fellas,
I am sure you all mush have seen Reliance Mobile ad campaign ROTI KAPRA AUR MOBILE (food, cloth & mobile) series, this ad provoke me to write this, well I am not discussing out here the +ve & -ve of mobile services, but the utilities of mobile for a poor person like me.
Now fellas there is mobile ph. For the poor too, now he just stops thinking about bread, job etc. at all.
Having a mobile everything seems to be just so easy. A poor in one area contacts another poor, can pass this information that there is a minister’s party going on & there is definitely some left over so they can have a feast.
In the same way if a poor came o know that workers in a particular area had fled, they can have some jobs out there & if he or she gets kicked in that riot their immediate families can get some compensation or if they are really lucky somebody of their family might get a govt. Job.
I think mobile ph. has made for them those who are really mobile (can’t sit at one place for longer time) earlier; it was the poor who roams all his life in order to make some money now it is the rich now.
A friend of mine was telling me that how the definition of Poverty had changed, now there is one Garibon ki Kaar (Poor’s car), those who are having scooters are considered to be below poverty line. Those who are having two room flat are considered to be poor, though people who arte having Bungalows, their standard these days considered to be poor (int. std.)
One Mahatamaji (sadhu) in his speech says those in spite of having everything wants more & more , they are the poorest creatures on earth, their business of Paravachana is doing fairly good along with other businesses & Mahatmaji still says DATA EK RAAM HAI, BHIKHARI SAARI DUNIYA (god is the giver, rest all beggar) excuse my translation…
Thre are lots of advantages of Mobile too. You can say that you are away for a meeting by sitting at home, it was quite difficult earlier, that even you are in the office or in bathroom if not available on seat your boss have other thoughts for you.
Now, technologies have its disadvantages too, our BHAI (underworld don) got caught by using mobile ph. & our very dear cricketers had burn their fingers too, our sincere NETAJIS with their connections with Bhai’s.
Hey I think I’ve gone too far, back to our Poors.
Govt. depptt. These days sincerely thinking, while purchasing Relief supplies for Draught, Flood & Famine victims, mobile phones can be purchased in Wholesale rates & can be distributed along with other things like blankets, food packets etc.
Poors who stuck up in Flood, can contact or send SMS to their relatives friends & administration & in turn our administration can send SMS to them, telling them that they are considering their present situations & they’ll be contacted soon.
I guess, you must have seen the advantages of Mobile for Poor, if you have some poor souls kindly pass this message to them; they might like the idea the way I like.
