Took this phone under some crazy man’s pioneer program , I was crazy too !
Got stuck with them, went through their bad times .Who are they to me anyways ?!
Have been wanting to get rid of this fone for a long time and the reason is not connectivity ! It is becoz I feel cheated, extremely for that matter !@##
I have been regularly paying the bills inspite of it not coming for the first few months , now it is on time I must say ! My shock came when I visited a mobile fone dealer , He saw my RIM and asked me if I have paid the bills and I replied in affirmative and that too upto date !
He had this smirk on his face and he said I should not have as Reliance is offering a ’mandvali’ (settlement) for people who have been lavish on STD and ISD and have not paid the bills. The deal is that Reliance would forget all your outstandings provided you pay the Rs 2000 and convert the connection to pre paid, this even if your outstanding bill is Rs 20, 000 !!!
I feel cheated, I should have been corrupt and not paid them any money. This is unfair.
Now they have introduced a scheme to existing post paid customers to convert to prepaid and forget all future dues ( D Ambani club membership, handset installments etc ) I finally got a chance to exit, and I have.
I would now throw this phone far far away , that will be a happy moment !!
