I had one of the most bad experiences anybody can think of with Reliance. I took my connection as first offer 2003 Jan. Since then until OCT 2004 I was under post paid connection. I shifted myself to prepaid( only because billing was not correct, each time I had waste my time to discuss and then show my previous payments). This procedure was ON since my third bill.
MY PAIN is still to come. Last two days back I broke my handset ( LG). When I went to LG service station. They said it will cost 5000 Rupees. They suggested to buy new one. I had no problem to buy a new one. I wanted to buy a new one one. When I stepped in the RELIANCE WEB STORE they say, since its prepaid they cannot give me the same number. They can only retain the old number provided my handset is working. I wanted to replace my handset because its not working. Doesnt it look foolish that just because handset is not working you need to take a new number. I am now planning to go with other provider.
Not decided as of now.
Anyway you guys can check this from any RELIANCE CENTRE. IF THE HANDSET IS BROKEN FOR PREPAID ACCOUNT. NUMBER NEEDS TO BE CHANGED...
