Reliance is a very big name in the mobile operator segment in India but as per my personal experience this is the worst operator in india.
I brought the reliance sim as it was available free of cost and with the 1st recharge of Rs. 10 we would get Rs. 50. This was the worst decision of my life.
The network signal would never be available inside the house and even if it was there the sound would always have lot of noise or sound would cut and go to the other person. I had to always go out of the house or on the terrace to make a call. It really frustrated me and made me really angry at times. After many days of trouble I ported the number to bsnl.
Before porting I had to ask for the porting number fron them so when I send the message there was no response then when I called they said they have sent, and when I said I didnt receive they then told me the number by mouth and said they will no send it back on nessage. Finally my porting was complete and I was free from reliance and its bad network in my area. I am not saying it will be bad everywhere but it was bad in my area. The internet connection was also very bad, even after putting 3g packs there were slow internet. After 2 years of my porting now I am hearing that reliance has asked eceryone to recharge with Rs. 11 as they have changed their network to better it and I am hearing that the connection has bettered a bit but still it is not upto mark and plus the 11 rs. charged is unknown for what they are taking coz setting up of new tower signals its their responsibilities and they are taking money in the form of recharges of talk time and data packs thus this extra money is all bad.
