After reading this review of mine you all will get to know the present status of so-called "RELIANCE MOBILE OPERATOR" . I am sharing my personal experience with you all which I have faced just 1 hour before as I write.
I have opted RELIANCE for its large growing network and low calling and mobile data. Like everyone else I have also chosen RELIANCE as my mobile network. I have been using RELIANCE from past 5 years and after 5 years experiencing this I can say that one should not and must not opt for RELIANCE in any chance.
My experience
3 months ago I have migrated my "RELIANCE CDMA" number to "RELIANCE GSM" because of there discontinuance in West Bengal and all the other states too. While I did so RELIANCE has benefited my migrated number with 3 months of rate cutter(POWER) which says 1.2p/2sec for local numbers and for the period of 3 months. Which means 36 paisa for 1 minute.
This 3 months benefit has ended on 17/07/2016. I have recharged my "RELIANCE GSM" number for rate cutter on 18/07/2016 for Rs. 81 INR and got the benefit which says that 1.2p/2sec for local mobile numbers for 56 days. I was happy after as I recharged my number and was enjoying the service.
I didnt checked my balance and was using my phone quite peacefully and diligently. The thing happened when today on 18/07/2016 my father told me to call someone with my phone. I did so. After my father hung-up the call my eyes got lit up when I saw the call duration and amount deducted for the same.
The call duration was 58 sec and the amount deducted for the same was 78 paisa. I was shocked to see that and realized that there is something wrong with the network. I called the customer care number 198 and after 5 minutes of wait a customer representative received my call.
I explained the concerned person everything the problem which I faced and about my low balance also for that un-given benefit. That person asked me to hold on so that he can check the details and come to me with some upgradation. I allowed him to do so. The person came after 10 minutes but without any information and started to dominate me and rattle me.
I listed him carefully and told to transfer the call to him head. He again asked me to hold on and came back after 5 more minutes with the head.
Again, I explained him my concern and I was shocked and annoyed to see the response and approach. The head told me that "When you migrated from RELIANCE CDMA to RELIANCE GSM you got the benefit of 1.2p/2sec for 3 months for local mobile which was absolutely free that I accept but he added that there was some hidden benefit also which was that when your 1st 3 months benefit expires then automatically a plan for 3 months will automatically gets activated which says 1.3p/sec for 3 months for local mobile numbers which means 78 paisa for 60 secs previously which was 36 paisa for 60 secs.
I told the person that I was aware of this fact and RELIANCE not given me prior message or mail to alert me for the same. He said that there is nothing he can do for me. I accepted the fact and told him to refund me my Rs. 81 which I recharged on 18/07/2016 for the rate cutter.
The person was so pathetic in his speech and told me that you are not eligible for Rs. 81 and for the benefit which in turn means that they will not refund my Rs. 81 and will not activate the benefit too. I was in an anger requested him several times but of no use. I disconnected the call and was in shock and awful mood which I cant explain you all.
I explained the whole scenario to my father and we came to the conclusion that we are gonna migrate to some other network and wanna get ride of this company.
Henceforth, I would request to all our friends and reviewers that never go for RELIANCE CDMA or RELIANCE GSM. They are pathetic, awful, arrogant etc.
