Reliance-an invitation for troubles

1) We read in the newspapers the entry of Reliance into Wireless market through backdoor entry. We thought that it would teach the already costly Cellular operators a lesson and benefit the final customers.


2) The service of WLL also was called as a poor mans cell.


Now everyone are aware of the relevance of the above statements.


By seeing some of the hidden charges this service proves to be the costliest. Especially the Dhirubhai Ambani Pioneer Offer (DAPO). It would make you think always of the expired legend at least every day. I think this is the innovative idea of the Ambanis to make theirself the most popular persons in India.


For all those persons who are enthusiastic to go for the service think twice.


1) You cannot chae service at all - this makes the Cellular service advantage as you can change your service immediately, just by loosing your number.


2) The instruments provided by them are limited in range and also of poor quality. They lack battery life (There are instances of the Customer Service persons saying 1year finished-bohut hogaya, time to have a new battery). Except the Nokia handset all others are LG, Samsung, Kyocera all are new to Wireless market compared to their peers Nokia, Motorola, Ericsson etc... Believe me youll find a difference in their performance.


3) If you want to exit they will be telling you of refund money just for some foreclosure charges this word ’some’ plays a lot of role as it will waive all you have opaid before. Just take one thing as a thumb rule anything given to Reliance is gone forever


4) In the billing too, youll find a few shocks. Some times even ISD if you have no facility facilities. youll never ever guess the amount of bill. It depends all upon your luck.


5) The customer care persons are fresh raduates pushed to bear all the shouts and sheks of the customers without proper training. For any question go to two or more persons and hear solutions that doesnt match with each other.


6) Person who pays regularly is pushed back as he has a very less bill. They have certain discounts for the irregular eg.


Rs.5000 - disc 10%


Rs.10000 - disc 20%


Rs.15000 - disc 25%


goes on upto 40% depending on the way you shout at the office premises. So if you want to utilise this benefit this is the service for you (Definitely iam not of this kind)
