I am feeling very humiliated so say that I used this service.I am now going to share my bitter experiences about this service with you.....It was year 2003.Reliance info launched this bloody service with a slogan, Karlo Duniya Mutthi Mein and Baap Ka Sapna, better call it Sabka Maal Apna.At first the price was 3k and later dropped to 500 bucks.i was interested in having a mobile and asked my father to buy me one.He brought me a RIM LG 2030.The service took 3 days to activate.The calling and network was good.I was quite excited with the R-World, particularly the web surfing option.I used to browse some sites.But yahoo mobile was never available.Also the downloadable ringtones and wallpapers were an added attraction.But soon, when I showed this mobile to my friends, they called me a fool for buying this mobile.They said that even if you dont make much calls, you’ll get a big bill.First month, i got around 400.But the next month, it went beyond 650 and my friends words were turning out true.My dad paid the first month bill.But I told him not to pay anymore coz of the wrong billing.There was also an option in the r world to check your usage amount.One day, it was around 25 rs and I made just 2 local calls.i called a bsnl landline and talked for 15 mins.And a tata mobile for 3 mins.the next day, the usage amount was 130.23 rupees.I was shocked and I asked my dad not to pay the bill.We did not pay for some months and we used to get the bills.the outgoing got disconnected but the charged amount was hefty even though I was using it for incoming calls only.Then, rim prepaid was launched and soon, the migration option(post-paid to pre-paid)for 2000rs was introduced.This was the best chance I had, one of my friend was interested in buying a second hand mobile.I sold this piece of crap for 500 to him and he migrated it to pre-paid.Thus, ended my troubles with rim.
