Hi friends, This is a Instance that happend just a couple of days ago On 12 July 2006, and opened my eyes towards how a Prestigeous company like Reliance deals its customers causing them a lot of mental tension, agony and disgust. Plz go through the Review as it will be an EYE OPENER for you all , and BEAWARE OF FRAUDULANT COMPANIES like RELIANCE and CROOKS LIKE ANIL DHIRUBHAI AMBANI. KINDLY SPREAD THE WORD AND HELP AN INNOCENT CONSUMER Thanks, Here’s an excerpt of the letter written by my sister to Reliance and various other customer organisations Hi, I would like to point your attention towards the way RELIANCE INFOCOMM Humiliates, Misbehaves and harasses with its customers.I am a subscriber using Reliance Mobile for over 2years now. I have beenpaying my bills on time despite that On 1-July-2006 I got a bill#300628361217 for Rs2668.00 that mentioned the previous dues as Rs83.78 and the last date for its payment was 19-July. ON 12-July at around 6:30pm I got a call from a person called Mr Ranvir claiming that he was a Sub Inspector in Noida Police and he had filed a FIR in noida against me for non-payment of my Reliance bill, and he not only threatened me, spoke to me in a very rude and arrogant manner using foul, abusive language, but also threatend me with dire consequenses if I dared to complaint this to anyone. When I told him that I was not aware of any such matter and requested him to call later as neither my husband nor any other male member was at home and I was alone at my home, Sub Ins Ranvir replied that "Summons have been issued in your name and police is coming to arrest and lodge you in jail, We will drag you out of your home and humiliate you in front of your neighbours and touture you in jail". Though I told him that the last date of the Latest bill was 19th he didnt listen to me and kept on shouting as if I was a criminal, surprisingly when I called Reliance Customer Care they said that their were no outstanding dues. Then he told me to speak to Ms Kavita Chawdhary who I was told was Reliance’s Lawyer to sort the matter out of court, when I called her she abused me and spoke in a very derogatory way, and warned me that she will see me in the court.When I asked her that what could I do to resolve this matter she demanded Rs 50000 or else spend rest of your life visiting courts and police stations.When I told her that their is no outstanding bill for my phone and the last date for the current bill is 19th july, she yelled at me and said "I dont know anything about it, either you will have to pay us Rs 50000 or get ready to go to Jail" Then Inspector Ranvir called me again and asked me if I had spoken to Ms Kavita, I told him that she is not ready to listen to me then Inspector Ranvir told me to settle the matter out of the court or else he will arrest me and lodge me in jail(without any fault of mine).When I protested, he said that a he is coming to my home along with a Police Party to arrest me. After that he kept on calling me and threatening me untill I kept the receiver off hook. I would like an answer of the following questions from Reliance Infocom : 1)Is this the way to treat a customer, is it justified to insult, abuse and harass an innocent customer? 2)If their is any outstanding dues should’nt the customer be informed about it, Doesnt the customer have any right to be heard or respected? 3)Why does Reliance Infocom share and Divulge customer’s Personal information with others? 4)The Collection Agents appointed by Reliance have no right to insult and abuse its customers. 5)If the person who called me was a real cop, Why is Noida Police so much enthusiastic in Reliance’s Issues, rather than controlling fast increasing crime graph in noida? 6)Is noida police working for U.P Govt. or is it a Puppet in the hands of Reliance Infocomm and Anil Ambani? 7)If that person was just a GOON Appointed by Reliance to coerce and intmidate its customers, Why are they impersonating as Police Officers and IS Noida Police taking some action against them? 8)To me their doesnt seem to be any difference between Reliance Infocomm and its CEO ANIL DHIRUBHAI AMBANI and Underworld Dons like DAWOOD IBRAHIM, Both exort money by threatening people. Dawood and his D company runs his terror network and demands randsoms from Rich whereas his counter part Anil Dhirubhai Ambani and company threatens the common man and his men insult, abuse and harass innocent people. I would like to request that Severest of Severe action, and penelty be imposed on Reliance Infocom and its CEO Anil Dhirubhai Ambani for harassessing people and causing them mental and physical tension.As a law abiding citizen of India I demand that Reliance’s telecom licence be revoked and a probe should be ordered against its owners for flouting telecom rules and running a illegal terror network.
