PRESENT DAY SCENE OF RELIANCE A TO Z BUSINESS PHRASE "LOOT LO INDIA" IS APLICABLE.
The other day I read a review in MS about a service provider asking the customer to pay Rs 7500/- for the Broad Band Connection installed only two days back. Then threatened to disconnect.
Today I receive a call for my less than one month old Mobile connection of Rs 425/- Plan (in which I was given so many frees, eg talk time SMS and reduced rate calls and wat not. thinking at the most Rs 600/ will be the bill after so many frebiees) and asked to deposit Rs 950/- or out going will be barred.
In return I served him Volleys of Indian Slangs dur to my previous bitter experience and Reliance have trained them for such events because its money which is important and not self Respect or care of customer. May be Economic Melt down Effect. And I asked them to send the bill first and then stop out going calls, if not paid.
QUESTIONS RAISED
1. I do not know if IRDA has such sort of monitoring system where a buyer of Mobile Connection is blackmailed?
What should one do after paying for the connection and CDMA Handset?
Consumer court is not the answer because here staff / partener of the Reliance may be playing games to tarnish its image?
This may be due to the constraint due to Economic meltdown and Mobile Agencies may be asking Advance money as it has become our necessity?
