I took Reliance NetConnect in Mid Jan 2011, it got activated same day without address verification. Later it got disconnected after verification done by Reliance and my struggle for reactivation started. 2 weeks later I got Welcome Call from Reliance though the Net remained disconnected. I kept visiting Reliance WebWorld and calling the Customer Care.
Finally, it got activated after 20 days.
Now the net is active but it is damn slow and keeps disconnecting always. I get hardly 50kbps speed that too in late nights. Evening time(6-10PM) it would be around 5-10kbps and it takes~1 min to open gmail kinda webpages.
Also, I would like to tell you that the Reliance Customer Care service is just a medium where you can discuss your matter with a representative but you will hardly get any resolution from them.
In one sentence, I would suggest you to ask for demo at your place before taking Reliance Net Connect! But don’t get be-fooled with cheating advertisement of 3.1Mbps.
