I suffered from reliance a lot. Here are some facts. please take a look at them below.
Every one is need of internet now. So the guys who have the postpaid connection with reliance please change your plans to 256 kbps plan. yes, they have a plan now with 256 kbps.
Reason: Even if you opt for the 3.1 Mbps plan, they are not going to give you more than 0.4 Mbps. Why unnecessarily pay for more? If you opt for the 256 kbps plan, it will give you the complete 256 kbps(tested) and monthly rental 500 rs and 8gb day and 15 gb night which is good enough for browsing. 256 kbps is nothing but 0.2 Mbps.
Let me tell you guys, this is monopoly business in India. Due to lot of tax and other pressures, the wireless internet don’t have a competition to reliance and photon. How ever do not opt for photon as well. They won’t give the speed for more than 0.6 Mbps. Well compared to reliance its better.
Guys the 256 kbps plan is applicable to all the cities and towns that has reliance netconnect+ plan. How ever before you buy a new connection ask the executive to come to your house and show the speed demo with speedtest.net website. you try it else they do some golmal. If at all if you believe in their words and take 3.1 mbps plan? then you will be the looser. by the way I am the nephew of chairman, reliance(state cannot be mentioned). I know lot many things about their net connect business which I cannot disclose here.
Based on his words, I have opted for this 256 KBPS plan. Now its up to you guys to decide.
Please dont waste your money with reliance if you have more money with you. Pay for the service that you get for. If they are promising 3.1 mbps ask for at least 75% of that speed. well, you will never get that. Dont believe in their false promises.they are gonna cheat you. Don’t be cheated by some one.
