Reliance Netconnect A Bunch of Thieves.

I was using a post-paid connection of Net-connect broadband. After a year of using it since my usage was less I decided to have it converted into a pre-paid connection.

I placed a request with them on the 25th of September 2010. I also got a confirmation call from them on this.

In November I got a call from them to pay the bill for month of October, when I told them I had it converted to a pre-paid they told me yes but the request was not done due to a lapse at their end so I would have to pay the bill. I protested and wrote a detailed email to their Nodal Officer.

I got a reply that the migration was done and sorry for the inconvenience. I replied to them saying "I hope the bill that was erroneously sent was being reversed." I did not get any reply from them.

THIS from their NODAL OFFICER for customer service.

In March I receive a mail from some organization called ZENITH ENTERPRISES and an abusive lady called Mrs.Khan who threatened me with a legal notice for pending dues.

This after being a corporate custome of Reliance Netconnect and never once defaulting and paying their bills on time.

We again called up the Nodal office and got a similar response – “Yes, Sir we agree it’s a lapse on our part, but the system is such that if there is usage YOU have to pay the bill.”

Wow! What a system, now what is the guarantee that the delay of 1&1/2 months in converting the connection is also NOT a system for cheating customers!

I would ask anyone going for a Reliance product to think twice before doing so.
