Am using Reliance Net Connect for years.I used to get frequent signal, speed and connectivity issues and I waited sometimes even for 3 months to get solved.
But for last 6 months (from 2013 Q4)there is total let down by Reliance to its Chennai based net connect customers, connection works hardly 70% of time at around 40 kbps and rest it works in 1x mode at 4 kbps or sometimes 0 signal.
Tried raising this complaint to reliance customer care for last 6 months and tried their appellate support too.They don’t have any solution to this issue but they have a message issue will be solved ASAP. With no service they don’t have option to refund the modem cost nor they are happy to provide the service.
Indirectly reliance recommends us to move away from Reliance Net Connect in Chennai, as Reliance have no plans to solve any network issues.(modem cost not refunded for their fault).
To hear it from Reliance : Try calling Reliance Customer care anytime and ask which all area in Chennai has network issue.They will reply name of 90% area in Chennai :) Its really frustrating.
