Be away from Reliance NetConnect

We want to put our bad experience with Reliance NetConnect.


Please be aware taking connection is easy but while disconnection they make your life hell.


We took reliance netconnect from WebWorld in Kondapur Hyderabad in 2010 for my wife who works in an IT company as she works from home now and then. We took 3.1 Mbps speed card, but we never had more than 300 kbps. Inspite of that we used the card for 1 year and time had come to disconnect as my wife took a break from work for materinity. We requested disconnection 1 week before our billing cycle ends, they said disconection take 2 weeks time, so we may be receiving one week bill for next billing cycle. It was weird why it take 2 weeks time, anyway we didnt have other option and agreed to it and raised a cancellation request.


But to our suprise we received a whole month bill in next billing cycle and we have not used the card even for a second after cancellation request. We contacted customer care with cancellation request number, they acknowledged that cancellation was raised against our card but they were not sure why disconnection is not completed, they asked us to contact WebWorld. At webworld too they said they are not sure why cancellation didnt happen and asked us to send an email to customer care, which we obliged.


Even after 3 months of cancellation our card was not disconnected and we keep getting bill month after other. Two times they sent recovery agent too, we explained the same to him and sent him back.


It’s been a worst exp with Reliance, I would advice all users please refrain from reliance as they make your life hell when they know you are about to leave them.
