Got threatening extortion calls from someone (says he is calling from Tiz Hazari court) and an advocate representing Reliance Netconnect.
I had asked them earlier (Reliance customer care) to cancel my connection but they didn’t do it and now they say I have to pay the bills for the subsequent months when I didn’t get the connection and didn’t use it.
By keeping a retainer and an advocate it seems they are running an extortion racket.
Using the concept that the consumer does not have the time and energy to fight a case, they indulge in such measures. and its just Rs. 2500.
They think they get extra money but does not understand that they spoil their reputation and eventually money.
