Worst Experience with Reliance

Following is my mail to Reliance.


Hi Mrs Amita Shetty,


I would like to share my bad experiences being your customer.


I have a 3g connection from you guys. I have been experiencing very bad reception since the time I purchased and raised a number of requests, without any satisfactory resolution. BTW, I live in KRPuram, Bangalore.


Since I have no other alternative, I have been getting along with the your lousy service. Now after all these years, I had to close the connection due to my travel to abroad and dont want to waste money paying u unecessarily for the bad serrvice. Following is my bitter difficulty in closing the connection.

  1. Day 1: I called customer care. They said that I can only terminate the connection by visiting the Reliance World Store.

  2. Day 2: I visited Reliance World in Indiranagar (as I assumed that they are better) . The corresponding executive said that I need to provide photo, address proof, id proof to close the connection. Also he adviced me to go to Reliance Store in KR Puram as that is nearby.

  3. Day 3:I visited the KR Puram branch with all the documents. The executive at KR Puram branch says that I need to call the customer care number and make a request and do the outstanding bill payment online to close the connection. He also said that I cannot close the connection from that branch.

  4. Day 3: I called the customer care for 45 minutes and failed to connect.

  5. Day 4: I visited the Reliance Store at Indira nagar again, and explained my problem. This time the executive is another guy. He said I dont need to provide any proof. All I need to do is to make payment and they will take the request. He also said that I need to pay an excess of 1 week.

I paid Rs: 433/- excess of my bill. I asked for bill for Rs:433/- also. The executive said that I will get the bill once my termination request is processed.


My current state is, I still haven’t received my bill after 1 month.


The above is the most incompetent experience in closing my connection with Reliance. I am very disappointed by the quality of service that you guys provide, bothe from the perspective of your product and from the way customers are handled. My experience is as bad as dealing with a government official.


I still need to work out with you guys to get my bill for Rs:433/-


With utmost disappointment.
