I had purchased Reliance Netconnect Broadband+ for the 3.1 Mbps wifi speed. Overall the performance appears to be satisfactory at best. I have got a fluctuating speed of anything between 250 kbps to 1.6 Mbps. Mostly it averages to to less than or equal to 1.6 only. and dropouts/hangovers every 30 to 45 minutes or so. I have yet to see 3.1 mbps at any point of time - even momentarily. Getting to talk to the customer helpline has been an impossibility ever since I bought the product. All their customer support staff are ALWAYS busy and we are requested to wait for them indefinitely.
I have waited as long as 25 minutes today and then gave up!!! So please remember, when you buy Reliance, you also buy a faceless and heartless organisation to deal with. I will wait to see for about a month if anything improves, otherwise I will take a call to terminate my association.
For those who would like to know, signal strength has always been maximum, and I have used the Reliance tool for the measurement of speed.
