3.1 Mbps is a marketing gimmick. I am having reliance netconnect data card for more than 3 years.
Initially when I got the connection, I used to get speeds of upto 1 mbps which have remained elusive ever since.
Since past one month there was issues of signal strength and speeds. Whenever we call up CC, the standard replies we get are to clean the cache, re-install the dialer, clean the network settings etc.
Inspite of sending them screen shots of speedtest.net (which does not even complete due to low speed) and testmy.net, they do not accept that there is problem with the speeds. CC replies that we would get only 200-300 kbps speeds, then why do they mention 3.1 mbps on the site. Just mention 256 kbps.
Web world person says we should get 200-600 kbps of speed. They say I have problem in my data card(crap).
Even after emailing to customer care(CC) with a copy to appellant’s officer, there is no solution to this issue.
