I bought a reliance pro 3 dongle 6 months ago with the post-paid unlimited plan. Reliance agent asked me around Rs.1800(800 Device Cost+ 1000 Deposit) and he told you wouldn’t get first two months bill during this offer period. Also, he has promised at 4-8mbps speed of download. After started using it, I faced lot of troubles
You don’t believe it - the speed was very pathetic. Most of the time I got 20kbps and very few hours a day I got around 512 kbps. I have called the customer care multiple times but it was never resolved till my surrender. I have even tried multiple location in the Chennai city but it never went beyond 1mbps
Secondly, I got my bill on the end of first month itself against what was promised by the reliance agent. I checked with the customer care and they told deposit was never paid and it was not their practice. I called that agent and he was saying he paid the amount. It was then never settled.
Third, I was trying to change it to prepaid after few months but they told it is not their practice for Reliance Pro 3. But earlier they were promising it can be done after couple of months. However, they changed the policy after sometime and it was applicable for even old customers.
Finally, with lot of troubles, I surrendered it.
