Our experience with Reliance Infocomm:
We applied for 3 Land Line phones from Reliance through their Agent. After a lot of initial hassles the phones got delivered- 2 were cordless LG phones and the other was their standard CDMA LG Handset.
The Handset did not work from Day one- The signals on all the three were very very poor. A person from their Technical Team visited us and said that he did not know how the phones were sold to us as our area had serious signal problems and that he would go back and Arrange for Antennae to get over the immediate problems. He also suggested that we change the Cordless Handset to Corded one as the cordless should never have been sold to us. However the defective corded phone was replaced immediately following his visit. PERIOD.
After a lot of e-mails back and forth, the Cordless phones were finally changed by our sending a person to the webworld and making him wait there for over 3 hours. Still no sign of the Antennae and still no commitment from Reliance on refund for the excess amount paid for the Cordless handsets. All their executives hide behind call centre operators who have no clue what is going on and in the rare case where you are able to get their Number, they conveniently do not answer their phones.
UPto now, we had only heard about the problems with Reliance Infocomm- we had not imagined that we would be put through so much of anxiety and frustration. Following our experience we would believe anything said about them- one of the most worthless and useless service providers and I hope there are some legal avenues for these to be redressed. We are sure that they would be least bothered about any legal notice or court case
