Never ever go for reliance telecom. I had prepaid connection with reliance (with lifetime validity, etc). After 2 years they have blocked all incoming and outgoing saying they need verification proof again ( what happened to the one I submitted 2 years back).
Without any info they just disconnected. When I visited web world they said it is being done to many customer who have connection for more than 2 years. I have visited 4-5 times in last 2 months (with all papers/proof etc), but they keep on saying something or other (sometimes they say go to this branch sometimes they say send it through courier to other office, etc).
Result is I could not get the connection restored for last 2 month. I have heard with many other guys that this has happened in other parts of India also. I think this is a way to sell more mobile/connection and just cheat the customer once they have taken the connection. May be the reliance infrastructure is not good (as is evident from number of call that go through when u use reliance) to sustain many customer, so they are trying to ditch customers like this.
My suggestion go with airtel or others but never with reliance.
