I had booked a connection in July07 at Bangalore . They do
installations thru 3rd parties. Those guys came 2 weeks after booking
and tried for sometime. They were not able to make the connection work
and went back saying someone from reliance will come and do the
installation.
After one month of follow up with dozens of people they said they can not give a connection. When asked for refund of the advance payment I had made, they asked to send email request. Since then its been over 2 months now and the refund does not look like coming in the near future.
They have a namesake customer service, who can only provide you some
numbers and ask you to call these local sales reps. These local
reliance people will not even respond and even if they do it will be to
say that they are not the concerned person. You will be made to run
from pillar to post and to no avail.
The best thing about these guys is that when you call reliance.. they ask you to talk to their partners for your problems.. when you talk to the partners they tell you they are helpless and they cant do anything and its on reliance to act. The two happily keep playing this game of fooling the people.
The worst thing is that Reliance people are shamelessly immune to even the harshest language one can ever use.
