I am using Reliance Wimax for last 3 months in bangalore. I have taken a 2MBPS connection with 4GB download limit. The speed is always more than 2GB. But, there are several issues in Reliance Wimax connection as the project is still in pilot basis in Bangalore and pune. Initially I was also facing some issue but now I am getting the connection 90% of the time and the speed is superb.

Considering the widespread nature of this technology, Reliance and other companies will rope in advanced technology to reach the masses. Hence the broadband schenario of India itself will change with these introduction of these Wimax.
The main advantage is that there is no digging is required to give a connection and hence the installation will take very less time compared to other service providers like BSNL and Airtel who will provide the connection only if the physical connection is available.
Overall my user experience for Reliance Wimax internet connection is pretty good.
