I have bought a Reliance datacard in Feb 11th 2011. the person who came for the demo carried a blue color data card and was able install and browse on my lappy. seeing which I had paid him and he handed over a black datacard. when he tried to install it was giving some problem.
He tried to restart, meddled with control panel etc and spend almost 2 hrs but could not install. next day another technitian came and he had also taken some 2 hrs of time.. took the laptop to root, balcony, and finally to the street to check the singnal. they failed to understand when blue colored datacard is able to pick up the signal why not the black colored one?
they took the data card promising me to resolve this isse and later took 1 week’s time and spent 1 hr to install but failed. they said they have lodged a complaint and some one will come and replace. even after a month nothing has happend and I started getting calls for bill payment. I got furious called the sales manager and gave good piece of mind. with in 2 hours they came with the money and taken the card back.
please do not buy black colored data card.. it does not work.
