Purchased a overseas travel insurance from Religare for multi country travel for 72 days. In USA I was suffering from severe urinary infection for which I needed to consult a physician. Experiencing my daughters treatment in USA
( she is a resident of USA) she took me to a urgent care. They refused cashless treatment looking at my policy and estimated an expense of USD600~700. On calling up FALCK the TPA of Religare they also declined to allow cashless treatment. My complaints to Religare by email took 3 to 4 days to get reply and that too negative. I wasted my money Rs14000 paying the premium. Consulted my homeopath in Kolkata and got medicines to relieve my illness. Never take Religare travel insurance. There are several insurers in USA covering for US visitors with low premium and trustworthiness and small copay amount. I have decided to purchase from one of these in my next visit. Religare is scam and their agents only looks for 25% commission on these policies highlighting cashless claim, OPD etc
