I believe that there should be nothing to blame about remit2india. If you have to transfer funds to a bank in India which is non icici bank, do you have many options? Your bank would charge you around 15-20 pounds to transfer the money. And even more, if you have small amounts of money to transfer, say less than a £1000, then such a charge is really painful. Remit2India is providing transfer facility free!
More over, I believe their customer service is excellent. Their customer service officers give you a call back immediately and guide you patiently through the entire process.
Surely, their website has recently been updated and there are some teething issues (like a nine digit passport number and it would not accept number less than nine digit. A suggestion, add zero before your passport number to make it nine digit :))
I think this service provider is worth a try as it is backed up wit the good will of times of India group. This review does not express the views of Banyan Financial Advisors
