The Renault Duster comes in 13 variants, two 1.6 liter petrol models and the rest with 1.5 liter diesel engines, priced between Rs. 8.30 - 13.55 lakh. The diesel models come in two power options – 85PS and 110PS, with the latter also offering all-wheel drive as a choice on the RXL and RX Z variants. The 85PS diesel offers a mileage of 19.9 kmpl.
It competes with other five-seater compact SUVs and crossovers such as the Ford EcoSport, Maruti S-Cross, Hyundai Creta, Mahindra TUV300, Nissan Terrano and even the Mahindra Scorpio. The top-end variant with a 1.5-litre dCI engine that pumps out 110PS is definitely more delightful to drive than the detuned 85PS version.
