This is really disheartening that I have to write this mail to The Car Of The year Company.
I bought a Renault Duster ( MH 03 B J 1111) in August 2013. From your Thane Dealer, Gen Next Motors Ltd. Patlipada, Ghodbunder Road, Thane West, Maharashtra.
I have had a serious issues with my car. As the accelerator of the car kept on getting stuck while driving. And today again, for the 4th time it got stuck twice in the heavy traffic. 4th time in a span of one 8 months.
4 times I have visited the dealer workshop and they have still not found the problem or the solution Earlier you engineers claimed that there was no technical problem and it was due to the floor mat. But in spite of disagreeing we got it removed last time, and yet the same problem cropped up.
I am really disappointed and go through mental trauma every day I take the car out. And the strangest thing is that, today when I reported this matter to Service Manager of Thane (Sanjay Mahadik: 8691070955), he was suggesting the most stupid solution to me. He was requesting me to send a video of the stuck accelerator so that it becomes easy for him to investigate. Means, while I am driving, and in the middle of thick traffic, he wants me to keep the camera in hand, as if I know when the problem would arise and on pointing out his stupidity, he said that I should not be bothered as this problem was not a regular thing and happened only once or twice a month.
Had I know that after investing so much money and trusting a known brand, I am taking home trouble, I would have looked for a better option than Duster.
Please look into the matter at the earliest before it takes a serious turn.
