I have purchased Renault Duster from Aphrodite car center in Jamshedpur. I have earned some bitter experience which I would like to share with all. That this is a good car(driven for over 2500 KMs) and congrats to Renault for making this nice car best suited to Indian context and I don’t regret on the performance part. But my problem is with dealer in Jamshedpur 1.When I got this car delivered in Jan 2nd week 2014 I told them that I will wait for new(adventure edition) as I came to know from website that there is new version coming up.
The manager tried to convince me otherwise saying he as inner man of Renault knows that hardly there’s any change in the Car(that’s new version) So I decided to buy the Renault Duster(85Psi) and at the time of delivery of car despite promise neither the manager, nor the marketing man were present(though they promised they will be available as I had confirmed my arrival there from Kolkata(preferred to buy from Jamshedpur as I belong to Jharkhand). I only found skeleton staffs on the day of delivery of my vehicle(these guys were of junior level) and they had no knowledge to explain about the car(Ideally during delivery the customer has right to be explained about the car) They asked me to wait for long time unnecessarily for delivery of car(almost after 8 hours) I felt disappointed at the cold attitude of the staffs present that day.
This will be a really memorable day(bad memory) in my life. I dislike their customer unfriendly attitude. I feel God save Renault to keep such dealers who will soon damage reputation of this company in India.
