There been long time since I bought my kwid so I can review it now easily according to my experiences with it.
I bought my Renault Kwid 3 months. Kwid just for small budget and some good features like bluetooth, touch display. Gone for one long rides of 200 kms. The comfort during long drive was appreciable and better than alto 800.
The Steering seems stable at higher speeds of 100kmph but not too good after that but that is already good enough.
The mileage was not as expected. Its like 14-15 kmps in city and 17-18 during highways but that is also before second service.
Expecting the better mileage after first service atleast but no worries because this is going to improve a little after 2 or 3 services.
No need to explain about exteriors as is all same you see in advertisments.
About Interiors, as many of you were aware about them and these are the features that may attract you to buy it but let me clear some important points here which may change your decision.
The Navigation system is suitable for cities and shows some good car ways but not at good or usefull enough at rural places in INdia and clearly it not google maps seems to me different for renault.
The touch display in the front which is available only in this car in this range or till 4-5 lakhs atleast was little bit messy or say laggy, slowly works.
The music you play over bluetooth laggs severely too and at all not good but the call clarity over bluetooth is awesome.
Also theres vibration in gear rod, not comfortable if you keep holding it long.
Kwid claims the ground clearance to be 180mm but even the Indian speed breakers breaks the bottom of the car instead of speed.
I hope it might be some designing error. If you close the front door when the back door is completely opened it will leave some minute rashes on the back door bottom, seems both door distance is not checked.
The accessories provided by Renault are not up to mark. The bad thing is the dealer is making it mandatory to have a 9 accessories which costs around 13.5k.
As many people said, the Engine is noisy.
