Test rode all the diesel vehicles in this segment. The only vehicle having the response like a petrol vehicle is Renault Pulse & Micra Diesel (Twins). Renault Pulse stands better due to its masculine exterior looks and hence opted the same.
I am owning this vehicle for the past one month and I have done 2000 km so far and just completed first service. Road vision is excellent and the excellent gear ratio makes it more comfortable in driving in IVth gear often in city traffic. Mileage is good (around 16 kmpl in city condition - hope will improve further) and the pick up of the vehicle is good.
The only negative factor I experience is the clutch level position i.e the height of the clutch is more compared to brake. This makes it more tough (legs also paining since we have to often press clutch) in heavy traffic condition and the same was escalated during first service. They have refused to even look into it being the vehicle design factor and they assured to escalate to Renault being this is the common issue by most of their customers.
