War Paint, I Mean Makeup By Revlon. The Way To Go

We ladies (and sometimes men, but I won’t go there) like to have our faces look nice. Some of us don’t have to even bother with makeup at all and good for you! But for those of us who do I would like to share with you a foundation that I use regularly. If, I don’t use this one, I am using one made by Mary Kay™. But this one is my most favorite, because it goes on evenly and smoothly. No streaks left behind at all.

The Product

Revlon™ Colorstay Makeup Sand Beige won’t rub off! Stays on your face. Won’t rub off on your collar or on your man.

Stays looking “just applied” all day without fading or wearing away.

SPF 6 sunscreen, fragrance free, oil free as well as dermatologist tested. And has non-comedogenic.

To Apply

Of course you should shake well before use. I using take my index finger and apply from the bottle to the finger to the face. Appling the cheeks, forehead and chin. A little to the nose and just around the mouth area. Then I take a sponge and gently rub into my face.

The bottle suggests: Shake well. Apply to one area of face at a time and blend with fingertips.

Sets in 60 seconds to a natural finish.

You should always remove your makeup with a cleanser that is right for your skin type.

Read all ingredients before purchasing to make sure you are not allergic to any of them.

The Container and Cost

It’s a glass container (breakable and recyclable) clear with a black cap. 1.23 fl oz 37 ml.

The cost is this bottle is 10.95 US dollars at my local Wal-Mart. But I only have to pay 2.25 because my husband works for Revlon.

How I Feel

It is one of the best foundations on the market in my humble opinion. It is oil free, which I love and really helps my skin to look healthy.

The makeup goes on smoothly like I stated above and it truly looks natural for my completion. I cannot stand women who wear foundation that is to orange for their skin types, and phooey on the salesperson for selling it to them in the first place, just to get a sell. “Oh that looks so wonderful on you!” My eye! Listen ladies, don’t be deceived by the sales person trying to make a sell. People will make fun of you, gawk at you even, and that is not worth it to you in any way.

This foundation does last all day. And sometimes I touch it up by Appling a little to my sponge and gently rubbing into my face, right over the other, and there are no problems. I mean you can’t tell that I did!

This foundation washes off well and does not have a strong fragrance that clashes with my colognes. I really do look okay with this war paint of mine. Just look at my picture on the site and see how natural this makeup really is.

Ladies, give this foundation a try. It’s a little costly but well worth it I think. It last a long time too! I buy a new bottle about every 3 or 4 months. Of course I don’t wear make up everyday either, but when I go out I certainly do wear it then. There is no way I want to take a chance on scaring the neighbors or the world for that matter. So, war paint goes on and Leah is a happy camper.

At any rate I love this makeup by Revlon™.

I hope that this has helped in some kind of way.

God Bless!
