I have been using Revlon Super Lustrous Lipcolor for almost 10 years. They used to make the most beautiful shade but they might have changed the name, I dont know. It was called Cocowine. It was an awesome color. I still use these lipsticks. They are the best. They have an extensive array of the most beautiful lip colors to choose from. I have tried others, Lancomes (too greasy), you name it from $$$ to $. This is the best lipstick around. I think Revlon has always been known from their wonderful lip colors.
It has lasting power with a nice comfortable non-drying formulation. It feels soft and smooth on the lips but it stays put until you drink or eat then you might want to just touch it up a bit afterward. It doesnt slip off easily and is not greasy. I hate greasy. The Colorstay stays great too but it is too drying and can get kind of flaky. You would be better off with the Super Lustrous formulation.
Okay, here is the key--This is important. For the very best out of this lipstick you should apply it with a lip brush. You will get the maximum benefits of this great lipstick. Brushing it on will make it stay better and it will look smoother and more stained rather than just rubbing the tube over your lips (which I think can look like of gummy and messy).
The creme, velvet and frost formulations are all nice, just stay away from the ultra shimmers (they feel kind of sandpapery or something?).
