Ricky Martin…Featuring his hit singles “She’s all I’ve ever had” and “Livin la Vida Loca” I purchased this CD at the peak height of the Latino music craze when it first hit the record shops two years back from H.M.V a massive music superstore. Much bigger then your average music café’s and Planet M’s.
Anyways here I am broken wings, quiet thoughts and unspoken dreams. Let me give you my insight into Ricky’s Album. I believe his songs to be a balance between reality and fantasy.
His Album consists of:
Livin La Vida Loca (Black cats and voodoo dolls)
Spanish Eyes (The way she sashayed her hips and shook her shoulders)
She’s all I’ve ever had (It’s the way she makes me feel)
Shake you Bon Bon (Shake your bon bon, shake your bon bon)
Be Careful (Cuidado con mi Corazon)
I Am Made Of You (With your love show me how to live)
Love You For A Day (Let me love you for a day let me love you for a night)
Private Emotion (And a silence falls between us as the shadows steal the light)
The Cup Of Life (Here we go, Ale Ale Ale)
You Stay With Me (Night was over much to soon)
I Count The Minutes (The sun don’t shine whenever I’m without you)
Maria (Un, Do’s Tres)
There are many other songs, which I haven’t mentioned. The list is endless. My favorite is Cup Of Life. I think that it could boost anyone’s energy levels however down they might be. All his songs are full of energy and I could go on listening for hours on end and still not get frustrated.
If you really want it. Just steal your destiny, right from the hands of fate. Reach for the cup of Life. If only it were that easy!
Then there’s my second favorite. Livin la vida loca. With a chorus line that is set to leave you rocking. The unforgettable “She’ll make you take your clothes off and go dancing in the rain”
I much more prefer to watch the music videos whilst listening to the songs.
