I got my Honda serviced on 28th Aug 2013, from Ring Road Honda(BAS Engineering Pvt Ltd). The entire experience was a nightmare.
A) When I walked inside the service center, there was no one who came ahead to assist the person who got his car for servicing
B) After waiting for 15 minutes, I entered the office and they asked me to ask the floor manager who in this case was some Mr. Negi
C) I called out 3 times to Mr.Negi who finally heard me when I literally shouted on his face. He seemed like the most busy person at the dealership. I thought Honda stood for customer service!
D) He asked me to wait and I waited at the office from 11:15 to 12:30 pm before a person came to ask me where my car was. In the meanwhile, the car which had come after me was attended to just because there was a policeman who came with that car. My cars number was 110(As per the plastic number kept on top of my car) and car no 111 was attended to before me. SO I WAITED FOR MORE THAN ONE HOUR TO GET ATTENDED To!
E) The person who finally did the paperwork gave an estimation of Rs. 13000 and with some questioning, that estimation came down to less than Rs.5500!
F) When I asked if a drop off was possible to my address in the evening, I was flatly refused.
G) When I was handed over the car in the evening, no one informed me on any issues with the car and I was told it was in a good condition
H) WHEN I TRIED SWITCHING MY CAR ON THE NEXT MORNING, IT HAD A FLAT BATTERY. I checked it thoroughly but I had not left any lights on accidentally either. This was the first time in 3 years that my car did not start and THAT TOO RIGHT AFTER GETTING IT SERVICED.
I) I got late for my office and it did irreparable damage to my days schedule.
It seems like the service center people got upset since they could not rob me. as I questioned the Rs.13000 original estimate and tampered with my battery.
