The Make in India movement is one movement going really really viral and is gaining popularity all over India. Recently, one more really interesting and surprising feature has been added to the glories of this movement! And of coursez we are talking about the Freedom 251 Smartphone. Well, the name says it all, we, India as a country, has made the world’s cheapest smartphone and that too, fully functional and coming with Acceptable features! We don’t even get those phones with keypads or a flip up screen under a price of 300 and now, we have this thig right halere, a fully functional ANDROID SMARTPHONE, that too, at just 251 Indian Rupees!
There isn’t anything to complain about when we take a look at the specifications. The phone is powered by a QUAD CORE 1.3GHz processor along with 1450MAH Battery! It also has 1GB RAM and a qHD display! That isn’t the end, we also have camera support for the device too, both, front and back! The rear camera is of 3MP and the front is of 0.3( VGA) quality. I remember, about 3 years ago, I had a cellphone, the micromax X101 which was made completely out of plastic, was of the keypad type and had only one rear camera, that too, VGA! and it was priced at 1250 Indian Rupees! Removing the 1000, we now have this one, with a front camera! It also provides 8GB Internal storage, which is again, one of a kind feature to have!
Overall, the smartphone looks to be really really really promising towards the consumers and I am definitely looking forward to buy one and review it on my YouTube channel.( Well, that is atleast what I am hoping!) The phone would be available on 18th of February to the common people!
