Not engaging

Ripley’s Game - Patricia Highsmith is a very good book. It is a suspenseful thriller with a lot of twists and turns. The story is told through the perspective of different characters, and it is difficult to figure out what will happen next. However, the book has some flaws that make it less than perfect: the narrator is unreliable, and some of the characters are unbelievable.

I have never been so deeply disappointed by a book before. I had high hopes for this book, but it was so poorly written that I couldn’t even finish it. The main character is such a cliché and the plot is just terrible.

I was really excited to read Ripley’s Game. I loved Patricia Highsmith and I thought the idea of a book about a woman who creates a game that can predict future murders was really exciting. The first chapter is good, but it quickly becomes clear that this is not the novel for me. It’s too slow, the characters are not engaging, and there were too many plot holes and unanswered questions.
