I am back with the review of Rock On !!!! I know I am too late with this but still would like to express my views about it.
I just saw this movie last night and it was a good experience to go through this friendship saga once again by Farhan Akhtar... Rampal and Purab look cool. Farhan was also decent and Luke kenny looked like an uncle. The movie was a bit slow with good Rock songs and a friendship touch but it became boring after sometime. It seems that Farhan Akhtar can only end the movie when one of the character dies in the end as Dimple Kapadia in Dil Chahta Hai and Luke kenny in Rock on !! Arjun Rampal looked completely like a Hunk and Farhan Akhtar as he was going for an interview everytime. Purab’s performance was good but he was there only for a few scenes.
You could make out from the beginning of the movie that Luke Kenny had some thing wrong in his brains... due to which finally he dies and gets the 3 friends together. Prachi looked very slim as Farhan ate all her meals and didnt give her even a bit of it. Arjun Rampal was treated like a Dog by his wife. Just cant understand that in few scenes Rampal was shown so short tempered that he couldnt listen to any of the crap by Farhan Akhtar and that Director of the Music Video (Remember who used to stay Darling Darling Darling), then how can he take all that shouting from his wife. It was below my expectations as I had heard a lot about this movie. The only thing which kept me glued to my seat were the songs. Farhan was good as a Singer and he can still try more but sometimes his voice goes below the pitch.
It was a movie with Good Songs and Okay performance by everyone but I think it would not be a big deal if you would miss out this one !!!! Overall a slow movie with a weak background !!!!!
