Great action sequences but weak plot

HEY GUYS! This review is about the new Bollywood movie Rocky Handsome that released yesterday. The John Abraham starrer rocky handsome is said to be a remake of Korean film’A man from nowhere’. This film was one of the highest grossing Korean movies. This movie also has the same old funda of Drugs Goa and gangsters. The film basically is good only because of its action sequences that involve some Thai martial arts, My personal favourite is the scene with knives.

PLOT: John plays the role of Kabir Ahlavat who runs a pawn shop in Goa. Anna( a club dancer) and her daughter Naomi are his neighbours. Naomi is the little girl who is fond of Kabir, Her mother is involved in drugs. Brothers Kevin(Nishikant Kamat) and Luke Ferreira(Teddy Maurya) are the ones behind this racket. So when Naomi is kidnapped by them Kabir sets out on rampage to find her. In his mission he busts a drugs, child trafficing and organ trafficing business.

CAST: John Abraham delivers a power packed performance. All those action scenes are just a treat for action lovers but again its all action. Naomi played by Diya is also a very good character and really delivers a good performance. The good guy and child combination has worked in many films like Bajrangi Bhaijan. The baddie palyed by the director does not look that bad. It could have been better.Shruti Hassan looks cute and adds magic to her little cameo. Her part makes the song rehnuma look good.

STORY; The story is not very new, its just the old plot but with a new twist.

SONGS; songs like Rehnuma are just a treat for the viewers. The background score is also quite good

AT the end I would just like to say that if you are an action fan then you may like the film but if you expect a good story too then you might get dissappointed.

If you are a John fan then go watch the film I personally didnt like it that much though.
