We visited Manali-Rohtang in the month of july this year. We stayed at the Hotel New Shivalik which was just around the corner of bus stand. In the moring we got up early so that we could go to Rohtang as early as possible. But sadly there wasn’t restrurents oepned even at around 8 am. this was little bit disappointing. So we had our breakfast at bus stand. then we moved to find a bus to Rohtang but it was not easy to find a seat in the bus. So we decided to hire a taxi. 4 seater taxi was avaliable for around rs2400-2500. but we hired Ecco a 7 seater for rs 3000. Oh yes you can also share taxi with other peoples they charge around rs. 500 per head for Rohtang and rs. 2500 for Leh for Traveller up down. So we starter our journey and in the way we hired some safety jerseys and shoes, gloves. The cab driver was very nice. He kept on talking with us in the way and told us about different locations in the way. It was really very nice experiance in way the way. the hieghts were making us very excited. We reached at the snow point after a drive of around 2 hours. It was really very nice over there. yes there wasn’t very heavy snow. But yes it was enough for us to play. we really enjoyed over there for couple of hours. and after that we decided to move back. In the way we stopped at some waterfalls and clicked some pics. Overall is was nice experiance. You must visit over there. the ideal time would be Mrach-April and October-November. Better if you prefer to visit in March-April. I Hope I will visit again such a beautiful place in my near future.
